April 4 - 5, 2013

Workshop Description

The Center for Theoretical and Observational Cosmology of the Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos at Penn State will host an informal neighborhood workshop on Astrophysics and Cosmology beginning Thursday, April 4 through noon or so on Friday, April 5, 2013.

Talks will be short and informal with a strong preference for blackboard presentations and discussions. The specific topics are flexible since the aim of the meeting is to explore the most interesting and active areas of research. Everyone is welcome to speak, and we will give a cash prize for the best student presentation.

There is no registration fee. However, because of limited seating capacity, all participants must register by March 1, 2013. Please email Randi Neshteruk to register for the workshop.
